Will the unlocked PDF keep selectable text and links?
Auto mode preserves the original PDF structure when the encryption format can be safely decrypted in-browser. For other supported encrypted PDFs, FileVoxa can rebuild pages into a password-free PDF; that fallback may flatten text, links, forms and signatures.

Create an easier-to-open copy when you know the password
Unlock PDF is intended for documents you are authorized to access and for which you already know the opening password. It can create a new copy that no longer requires that password, making repeated access or later processing easier.
Removing a password does not grant rights you did not already have. Do not use this tool to bypass restrictions on documents you are not permitted to access, copy or redistribute. Keep the original protected file if you need to preserve its original security state.
When a new PDF must be created, some protected or advanced pages may be flattened. That can affect interactive forms, hyperlinks, annotations or digital signatures. Review the unlocked result carefully if those features matter.
