A useful thing to know
How do page ranges work?
Use commas between pages and hyphens for ranges, such as 1-3, 5, 8-10. Leave the field empty for all pages. Duplicates are removed and the order you enter is kept.
How we handle your dataSplit PDF guide
Separate the pages you actually need
Splitting a PDF is useful when one document contains several sections but you need to send, archive or upload only part of it. FileVoxa lets you choose a page range or create individual page files, depending on the split mode available in the tool.
Page numbers refer to the order of pages in the PDF, which may not match printed page labels inside a book or report. A document can show “Page 1” on its fifth PDF page because of a cover and contents section, so check the document before entering a range.
Splitting creates new files and does not alter the original. Keep the source PDF until you have verified that every required page is present and in the correct order.
Practical checklist
Avoid missing pages
- Confirm PDF page positions rather than relying only on printed labels.
- Use ranges carefully and review the selected pages.
- Open every result before sending an official document.
- Keep the source file if you may need a different section later.
Common questions
Does splitting reduce quality? It is intended to separate pages rather than deliberately lower quality. Can I split every page separately? Use the each-page mode when available. Supported files are handled in your browser.
