How we handle your dataExtract PDF Pages guide
Create a new PDF from selected pages
Extraction is useful when you need a specific chapter, certificate, invoice page or group of pages from a larger PDF. Unlike deleting a few unwanted pages, extraction starts with the pages you want to keep and builds a new PDF from that selection.
You can use the visual page selector or supported range syntax. Be careful with documents that have covers, roman-numeral introductions or printed labels that differ from the PDF’s actual page positions.
The extracted result is a separate file. Keep the original if you may later need unselected pages, and verify the output before sharing confidential material so that no unintended page is included.
Practical checklist
Select precisely
- Use visual thumbnails to confirm page content.
- Use ranges for long sections and individual page numbers for exceptions.
- Check the first and last pages of the extracted result.
- Review sensitive documents before sending them.
Common questions
Can I extract non-consecutive pages? Use the supported range and selection controls. Does extraction change the source? No. Supported files are processed on your device.
