Your documents and photos
The 20 file tools run in your browser. File contents are read into browser memory and are not sent to a FileVoxa processing server. Downloaded results are saved where your browser saves downloads. Your original file is not modified.
Temporary data on your device
Selected files, previews and results remain in the current tab until you reset the tool, navigate away or close it. The app does not store file contents in local storage. Closing a tab does not delete your downloads.
Language preference
Your chosen language is saved in your browser using the key filevoxa_lang. On a first visit, FileVoxa checks supported browser languages. If none match, it may use your browser time zone as a broad regional hint before falling back to English. This check stays on your device; FileVoxa does not request precise location for language selection. Explicit language URLs remain in the requested language.
Network-country language signal
When no language choice is saved, FileVoxa first checks whether the hosting platform can provide a country code from the public IP. If that signal is unavailable, it may make a small request to api.country.is on the first entry page to infer only the ISO country code from your public IP address. This can reflect a VPN country. No document, photo or file content is sent with this lookup. The result is used only to choose an initial language and is cached for the current browser session. In multilingual countries, browser language remains important because a country does not have one universal language.
Analytics and consent
Google Analytics is optional. It loads only after you allow analytics. Your choice is stored in this browser so we can remember it. File contents are never sent to Google Analytics.
Advertising and future services
FileVoxa does not currently use advertising cookies. If ads are introduced, this notice will be updated and a Google-certified consent platform will be used where required.
Favorites
FileVoxa can remember up to 10 favorite tool IDs in this browser so your pinned tools appear near the top of the home page. No file name, file content, output, password or document data is stored with favorites.
Recently used
FileVoxa can remember up to 5 recently completed tool IDs in this browser so you can reopen them quickly. File names, file contents, output names, passwords and document data are not stored in this history.
Theme
Your theme preference (system, light or dark) may be saved in this browser as filevoxa_theme. It contains no file or document data.
Quick feedback
After a successful result, you can optionally rate a tool. FileVoxa stores only the tool identifier, your positive or negative rating and a local timestamp in this browser. No file name, file content, output, password or document data is included, and this rating is not sent to a server in this release.
How FileVoxa works
FileVoxa may save one small onboarding preference in this browser so the first-use guide does not open every time. It contains no file or document data.
